What is the Lesson Bank?

The Lesson Bank is a searchable database. Once you find a lesson description you like, then download the complete lesson in .pdf.

How to use the Lesson Bank

For a broad search:

• Select Grade Level 'All'. Leave keyword and subject area blank.

For a narrow search:

• Select a grade level.
• Include a keyword(s).
• Select a subject area.

The science lesson title, overview and keyword fields will be searched. Matches will include one or more of the keywords you enter. You may leave this field blank, but doing so will return a long list of lessons.

Definitions

GLE Type -- Grade Level Expectation Type is a category within performance expectations.
Grade Level -- Grade level recommended for the content or material.
Keywords -- Words that may appear in a lesson plan's title, the lesson plan overview, or a keyword field (words added to the database to assist in searches).
